Recently, the 1.2 million mt hydrogen-based green fuel grid-connected green electricity direct connection project (hydrogen production station) of China Coal Green Energy Technology (Ulanqab) Co., Ltd. in Shangdu County completed its filing. The project construction site is located in Bolihujing Township, Shangdu County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The filing information shows that the total investment of the project is 2,426,548,700 yuan, and it plans to construct from October 2026 to December 2028. The project's total land area is 461 mu, with a building footprint of 119,336 m² and a total building area of 65,654 m².
According to the construction plan, the project will build 8 standardized factory buildings with a building area of 38,857 m²; 3 warehouse buildings with a building area of 1,258 m²; and supporting auxiliary buildings with a building area of 25,539 m². Meanwhile, the project will also purchase relevant equipment and improve supporting infrastructure simultaneously.
Regarding the equity structure, China Coal Green Energy Technology (Ulanqab) Co., Ltd. is jointly held by China Coal Green Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd., with shareholding ratios of 81% and 19% respectively. Among them, China Coal Green Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd.
The project's filing completion signifies a new phase of progress in its preliminary advancement. After completion, the project will further promote the development of local green electricity resources and the connection with the hydrogen-based green fuel industry, providing support for the regional new energy industry layout and green low-carbon development.
