Published: Aug 3, 2026 09:32
CATL has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Pinglu Canal Group to support the commercialization of electric vessels. When the Pinglu Canal officially begins operations in September, it will implement electric vessel navigation, with the first batch of vessels powered by CATL's marine battery systems. The two parties will also jointly operate a battery leasing ("Battery Bank") service to reduce vessel ownership and operating costs while supporting the decarbonization of inland waterway transport.
