This week, China’s graphitisation tolling prices remained stable overall. Supply-demand pattern wise, downstream demand support was moderate, outsourced processing orders remained sufficient, and demand-side resilience persisted. Meanwhile, the supply side was constrained by limited capacity release from operating enterprises, and there were still certain upward expectations in the market. However, affected by the previous decline in the cost center, although there were signs of a rebound in this period, actual transaction prices did not surpass the previous high, and enterprises’ overall momentum for price adjustments was insufficient. Looking ahead, as downstream anode material demand gradually increases, toll processing capacity will gradually shrink, clients’ desire to bargain down prices to ensure stable operation of suppliers’ capacity will ease, and processing enterprises’ bargaining space may see some recovery potential.
