Hecla Mining reported its Q2 2026 exploration and definition-drilling results. At its Greens Creek mine in Alaska, the East Zone returned 169.5 oz/t silver, 0.55 oz/t gold, 5.8% zinc and 3.2% lead over 8.4 ft, while the Gallagher Zone returned 20.8 oz/t silver, 0.13 oz/t gold, 4.8% zinc and 2.6% lead over 39.8 ft. The company spent $11.3 million on exploration and corporate development in Q2 and maintained its 2026 exploration and pre-development investment guidance of $55 million.
At Keno Hill in Yukon, the Bermingham Deep trend was extended by 165 ft in both directions, with intercepts of 62.7 oz/t silver over 10.2 ft and 44.6 oz/t silver over 10.1 ft. Midas in Nevada identified two new veins at the Sinter–Pogo Gap target, with one returning 0.50 oz/t gold and 3.1 oz/t silver over 1.8 ft; assays for the second vein remain pending. These are drilling and resource-definition updates, not announced changes to Greens Creek production or concentrate supply.
