US Fed Keeps Interest Rates Unchanged at 3.5%-3.75% for Fifth Time This Year

The US Fed maintained its target range for the federal funds rate unchanged at 3.5% to 3.75%. This marked the fifth consecutive time this year the rate was left unchanged. The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) passed the resolution with a vote of 9 in favor and 3 against.
