[Sheets & Plates] Today, export prices for HRC and other sheets & plates rose $1/mt DoD, with HRC transaction prices at $487-491/mt. Domestic futures edged up today, but market inquiries showed no significant improvement. Outside China remains in the off-season, and end-users outside China still mainly engage in short-term just-in-time procurement.

Expansion for PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk
PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia (ISSP) will accomplish the plant number 7 which will be located at Gresik, East Java. At this plant, according to Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer Corporate Secretary & Investor Relations ISSP Johanes W. Edward, the new plant will be able produce steel pipe to around 70000 ton per months. The operation will start slowly aroundfirst and second semester of 2026, and then full operation around 2027. This investment will be worth around Rp 1,3 triliun (around $72,538 US).
