【30k-ton Waste Power Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Launched in Chengmai, Hainan】 Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province issued a letter approving the EIA report for the new energy vehicle waste power battery comprehensive utilization project. The project is located in Laosheng Town, Chengmai County, Hainan, within the Laosheng Economic Development Zone. It constructs two new production lines: one 15,000-ton/year waste LFP battery cell crushing and sorting line (using "crushing + high-temperature pyrolysis + multi-component screening + dry separation + copper-aluminum separation" process), and one 15,000-ton/year waste NCM battery cell crushing and sorting line (using "brine discharge + shredding + drum washing + filter pressing + drying + multi-component screening" process). Upon completion, it will achieve an annual recycling capacity of 30,000 tons of waste LIB cells.
