Taihe, Anhui Launches $60M Waste Battery Recycling Project with 50k-ton Capacity

【50k-ton Waste New Energy Battery Resource Comprehensive Utilization Project Launched in Taihe, Anhui】 Recently, the local government of Taihe County, Anhui, released the draft EIA report for the waste new energy battery resource comprehensive utilization project. The project involves a total investment of RMB 410 million, located in Xiaokou Town Industrial Park, Taihe County. It consists of four automatic battery crushing lines, acid leaching, evaporation crystallization and drying equipment, and supporting wastewater treatment facilities. Upon completion, it will achieve an annual processing capacity of 40,000 tons of waste LFP batteries and 10,000 tons of waste NCM batteries, totaling 50,000 tons/year.
