[SMM Steel] India Alang Ship-Breaking Scrap Falls on Weak Demand

[India] HMS 80:20 ship-breaking scrap in Alang, Gujarat, fell to around 348 USD/tonne EXW amid weak mill buying and thin trading, remaining within its recent narrow range. Subdued finished-steel demand continued to restrict scrap consumption in Gujarat, while Mandi Gobindgarh was firmer, with HMS 80:20 rising to about 359 USD/tonne DAP. Alang prices are expected to remain range-bound.
