[Railway Services Across Guangdong Suspended on July 26 Due to Typhoon Hongxia]

According to the meteorological department, the 12th typhoon, Hongxia, will make landfall along the coast of Lufeng, Guangdong, bringing thunderstorms and gales to the region. To ensure passenger train safety, China Railway Guangzhou Group will gradually suspend high-speed and conventional train services across Guangdong starting from July 25, based on the impact range of the typhoon and rainfall. All high-speed and conventional trains in Guangdong are expected to be suspended on July 26. Passengers can check specific suspension details through the 12306 website or mobile app. The railway authorities will closely monitor the typhoon and rainfall changes and dynamically adjust train operation plans. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Passengers with travel plans are advised to pay close attention to official updates on the 12306 website and station announcements, stay informed of train operation status, and plan their trips accordingly.

However, backed by robust automotive demand, quotes from other mainstream mills held firm. Hot-rolled coil ex-works prices stabilized at 750-760USD/tonne EXW, as high interest rates and tight credit conditions continued to suppress downstream purchasing sentiment. In the slab market, mills prioritized internal consumption for September shipments, keeping export offers steady at 580-585 USD/tonne FOB.
