[SMM Flash] SHFE data shows that on July 23, the total registered cast aluminum alloy warrants stood at 18,064 mt, down 119 mt from the previous trading day. Among them, registered warrants across regions were: Shanghai (1,564 mt, unchanged), Guangdong (2,059 mt, unchanged), Jiangsu (4,047 mt, down 119 mt), Zhejiang (6,426 mt, unchanged), Chongqing (3,183 mt, unchanged), and Sichuan (785 mt, unchanged).

[SMM Aluminum] Aluminum Fluoride Prices Diverge as High Costs Persist; Fluorite Market Stays Strong

[SMM Aluminum Bulletin] This week, prices of aluminum fluoride raw materials diverged, while overall production costs stayed high. The upstream 97% fluorite wet powder market consolidated on a strong note, with mainstream delivered prices at 3,150-3,500 yuan/mt and persistent regional price spreads. The widening domestic raw material supply gap provided strong support for fluorite prices. Meanwhile, purchasing interest from downstream hydrofluoric acid enterprises recovered slightly, and just-in-need stockpiling increased, with favorable supply-demand developments reinforcing fluorite’s upward trend.
