Indonesia Central Bank Pauses Rate Hikes, Keeps Benchmark at 5.75%

On July 22, Indonesia's central bank announced it kept its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 5.75%. This was the first pause in rate hikes after the central bank raised rates by a cumulative 100 basis points over the previous two consecutive months.
