Looking ahead:
Export side, in July, the price spread between Chinese and overseas markets continued the pattern of LME outperforming SHFE. Amid a weak SHFE/LME zinc price ratio, China’s die-casting zinc alloy exports have a significant advantage. According to SMM, downstream enterprises in Southeast Asia have recently shown some procurement demand for domestically produced die-casting zinc alloy, and exports are expected to maintain strong momentum going forward.
Import side, constrained by the seasonal off-season in domestic consumption, coupled with an unfavorable SHFE/LME price ratio for imports, demand for imported die-casting zinc alloy is expected to remain sluggish, with YoY growth rate expected to continue weakening.
