Shandong Humon Launches Public Tender for 7,039.15 kg of Selenium Ingots, Grade Se99

SMM, July 2 — According to SMM, Shandong Humon has launched a public tender today for its selenium ingots, grade Se99. The quantity is 7,039.15 kilograms. Per the official announcement, the selenium ingots comply with the standard YS/T 223-2007 (see the attached assay certificate for details) and are packaged in white iron drums. Delivery is on a buyer's self-collection basis, with freight costs borne by the buyer. Transport must comply with national regulations, using vehicles with full hazardous chemical transport qualifications. The buyer must collect the goods by July 24, 2026. The delivery location is Shandong Humon Smelting Co., Ltd.

Market participants stated that the dibasic selenium market has softened recently, while trading of selenium powder remains steady. End-users may conduct large-scale purchasing and stockpiling in September. As a result, overall selenium prices have entered a cooling-off period. Nevertheless, results from recent crude selenium sales by producers indicate upward price signals for crude selenium at present, and the future price trend remains to be monitored.
