[SMM PV] Turkey Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation Against Chinese Solar Glass

On June 19, 2026, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Communiqué No. 2026/10, announcing that, upon application by Turkish producers, it initiated an anti-dumping investigation concerning solar glass (Turkish: solar cam) originating in China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The dumping investigation period was from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2022 to September 30, 2025. The products covered are classified under Turkish Customs Tariff Statistics Positions 70.06 and 70.07. The Communiqué entered into force on the date of its publication.

[Solar: GIP to acquire majority stake in Summit Ridge Energy]

Global Infrastructure Partners, part of BlackRock, has agreed to acquire a majority and controlling stake in US commercial solar company Summit Ridge Energy. rPlus Energies has commissioned the 125MW AC Pleasant Valley Solar 2 project and started construction of the 400MW AC Blacks Creek Energy Center in Ada County, Idaho. The projects expand the company’s presence in the state, where it now has more than 1GW of solar and energy storage projects that are operational, under construction or under contract. The combined projects represent more than USD 750 million in investment.
