[Supply Disruptions Intensified, SHFE Zinc Center Shifted Upward] The most-traded SHFE zinc 2607 contract opened at 24,685 yuan/mt. At the beginning of the session, bulls increased open interest, and SHFE zinc fluctuated upward all the way, touching a high near 24,800 yuan/mt. Subsequently, upward momentum weakened and the center shifted downward. It eventually closed higher at 24,720 yuan/mt, up 55 yuan/mt or 0.22%. Trading volume fell to 59,698 lots, and open interest decreased by 3,197 lots to 106,000 lots.

The most-traded SHFE zinc 2607 contract opened at 24,685 yuan/mt. In the early session, bulls increased open interest, and SHFE zinc fluctuated upward all the way, touching a high near 24,800 yuan/mt. Subsequently, upward momentum weakened and the center shifted lower. It finally closed higher at 24,720 yuan/mt, up 55 yuan/mt or 0.22%. Trading volume fell to 59,698 lots, and open interest decreased by 3,197 lots to 106,000 lots. SHFE zinc posted a small bullish candlestick. Although demand remained weak, supply-side disruptions intensified, and the zinc price center shifted upward. SHFE zinc is expected to hold up well during the night session.
