Indonesia Imposes Fines Up to $10M on Bauxite Miners for Delays in Alumina Refinery Development

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia has imposed fines on several bauxite mining companies for delays in developing alumina refineries and facilities. Director General of Minerba Tri Winarno said penalties vary by company, with some fines reaching as high as US$10 million.
