[SMM Overseas Rare Earths Update] Driven by rising prices in China and future expectations, mainstream rare earth prices outside China edged up this week. Praseodymium oxide FOB closed at $126-130/kg, neodymium oxide FOB closed at $157-189/kg, up $2/kg WoW, praseodymium metal FOB closed at $171-179/kg, up $5/kg WoW, and neodymium metal FOB closed at $159-179/kg, up $6/kg WoW.

[SMM Rare Earth Update] As of 11:00 AM today, driven by the continuous rise in Pr-Nd prices, suppliers raised their offers for gadolinium oxide to 235,000-240,000 yuan/mt, up 5,000 yuan/mt from yesterday morning. Rare Earth Prices Surge: Pr-Nd Oxide and Alloy See Significant Uptick Amid Strengthening Demand

[SMM Rare Earth News Flash] Affected by multiple factors, as of 12:00 PM today, spot Pr-Nd oxide was quoted at 775,000-780,000 yuan/mt, up about 15,000 yuan/mt from 11:00 AM yesterday. Spot Pr-Nd alloy was quoted at 935,000-950,000 yuan/mt, up 17,500 yuan/mt from yesterday. According to SMM, at current prices, some transactions had been concluded below the average Pr-Nd alloy price of 940,000-942,500 yuan/mt, as downstream end-use demand gradually strengthened and acceptance of high-priced raw materials progressively improved.

Pr-Nd Oxide and Alloy Prices Rise, Market Shows Mixed Acceptance

Influenced by multiple factors, as of 5:00 PM today, the spot price of Pr-Nd oxide was quoted at 765,000-770,000 yuan/mt, up approximately 5,000 yuan/mt from the 11:00 AM quote. The spot price of Pr-Nd alloy was quoted at 930,000-940,000 yuan/mt, up 10,000 yuan/mt from the morning quote. According to SMM, some transactions were concluded in the Pr-Nd oxide market at current prices. However, the magnetic material sector showed low acceptance of the 930,000-940,000 yuan/mt alloy price, and no transaction information had been obtained for the time being.
