Yantai Approves 12,000 Tons/Year Battery Recycling Project in Zhaoyuan

Recently, the official website of the Yantai Municipal People's Government in Shandong Province released the acceptance announcement for the environmental impact assessment document of the "12,000 Tons/Year High-Efficiency Power Battery Regeneration and Harmless Treatment Project (Phase I)" undertaken by a technology company in Zhaoyuan. Upon completion, the project will process 12,000 tons/year of power batteries, including a processing capacity of 8,000 tons/year for lithium iron phosphate battery recycling and 4,000 tons/year for ternary battery recycling. It will recover positive and negative electrode materials (black powder), aluminum granules, copper granules, iron granules, etc., annually.
