【SMM Steel】Toyota North America will invest $1bn to boost production at two key US plants. Kentucky gets $800m for new BEVs and Camry/RAV4 output. Indiana receives $200m to raise Grand Highlander SUV production. The funding is part of a $10bn five-year multi-pathway strategy to meet local demand. Toyota has 11 US plants and ~50,000 employees. The investments aim to deliver more models to US customers.
