The Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has officially set the 2026 national coal production quota at approximately 600 million tons, a 24% reduction from the 790 million tons produced in 2025. This significant cut is intended to support global price stability and manage domestic energy reserves for the long term
