The project (Phase I) is located in Buildings 3-4 of Zone B in the standard factory building of the International Printing and Packaging City in Guandu District, Kunming City. With a total investment of 157 million yuan, the project employs high-compatibility rapid non-destructive detection and sorting technologies for end-of-life batteries, pre-treatment technologies for disassembly recycling of lithium power batteries, and conventional battery production lines to process scrap lithium power batteries into battery module products. The project includes the construction of one automatic production line for 18650 cylindrical batteries, one for 32700 LFP batteries, one for prismatic aluminum-cased batteries, and one for pouch batteries.

[Implementation of a 100kt Comprehensive Recycling and Utilization Project for Scrap Lithium Batteries in Shandong] On February 2, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, released a public announcement regarding the proposed approval of the environmental impact assessment documents for the "Scrap Lithium Battery Recycling and Comprehensive Utilization Project" by Tengzhou Sunwoda Renewable Resource Co., Ltd. Located in the New Energy Industrial Park of the High-Speed Rail New Area in Dongshahe Subdistrict, Tengzhou City, the project has a total investment of 410 million yuan and will be constructed in two phases. Phase I is planned to have an annual processing capacity of 50,000 mt, with the introduction of seven specialized production lines. Through multiple processes such as disassembly, pyrolysis, crushing, and battery remanufacturing, the project will produce battery black mass and second-life energy storage products, achieving efficient recycling and maximization of the value of scrap lithium battery resources.

[Implementation of a 750 Million Yuan Comprehensive Utilization Project for Scrap Lithium Batteries in Guangzhou Industrial Park] The approval from the Guangzhou Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau for the environmental impact report on the "Comprehensive Utilization Project for End-of-Life Power Batteries and Scrap Lithium Batteries" at the Guangzhou Headquarters of the Guangdong New Energy Circular Economy Zero-Carbon Smart Industrial Park. Using 30,000 mt/year of scrap lithium-ion battery packs (modules) as raw materials, the project produces second-life batteries through disassembly and assembly processes. Additionally, using 20,000 mt/year of scrap lithium-ion battery cells (including 900 mt of scrap lithium-ion cells obtained from the disassembly of scrap lithium-ion battery packs (modules)) as raw materials, the project produces main products such as black mass from ternary batteries and black mass from LFP batteries, as well as by-products including aluminum particles and battery casings through crushing and screening processes.

[First Public Announcement of the 30,000 mt/year Scrap Lithium Battery Processing Project in Yangxi County, Guangdong] Recently, in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China and the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment regarding the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, Yangjiang Tian'an New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has publicly disclosed information regarding the environmental impact assessment of its project for processing scrap new energy lithium batteries and their second-life application.

[Hubei Scrap Lithium Battery Recycling Project Officially Commences] On February 1, the groundbreaking ceremony for Chilwee Yuanli · Weipu Recycling and Hubei Tianmen's 10kt scrap lithium battery recycling project was grandly held at the Lihe Group's Hubei Tianmen Industrial Park. The total investment in the project is 300 million yuan, with an expected capacity to process 100,000 mt of lithium battery recycling materials.

[200,000 mt LFP Project Goes into Operation] On January 30, the commissioning ceremony for Gansu Jinlin Lithium New Materials Co., Ltd. was held in Lanzhou New Area. The total investment in the project is 3.135 billion yuan, constructed in two phases, each with a 100,000 mt capacity. Phase one, with an annual production of 100,000 mt of LFP, commenced construction in April 2024; phase two, also with an annual production of 100,000 mt of LFP, is scheduled to start construction in March 2026.

[Nanjing LFP Battery Cathode Material Repair Project Lands] Recently, the People's Government of Lishui District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, released a notice on the proposed approval of the environmental impact assessment document for the "Jiangsu Weili Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Annual Processing 15,000 mt LFP Battery Cathode Material Repair R&D Production Base Project." The total investment in the project is 500 million yuan, located in Lishui Economic Development Zone. The main construction includes purchasing production equipment and building a new LFP battery cathode material repair R&D production base, which will have the capacity to process 15,000 mt of LFP battery cathode material annually upon completion.

[New 7,000 mt Lithium Battery Electrode Material Recycling Project Lands in Jiangxi] Recently, the Fuzhou Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau of Jiangxi Province released a notice on the proposed approval of the environmental impact report for the "LFP Cathode Material Recycling Line Renovation and Expansion and Sodium-ion Battery Cathode Material Production Line New Construction Project." Jiangxi Weibang Materials Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest 210 million yuan to add one sodium-ion battery cathode material production line, a research and development laboratory, and related facilities within the existing factory premises, producing 200t/a of sodium iron phosphate. At the same time, it will update all production equipment for the existing project (lithium battery electrode material recycling) to increase the recycling capacity from 3,000 t/a to 10,000 t/a.

[Hefei Tons-Level Retired Power Battery Recycling and Disposal Project Arrives] Recently, the Hefei Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau of Anhui Province released the first environmental impact assessment announcement for the "Hefei Jiersen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
