China Brand Passenger Vehicle Sales Drop in January 2026, Market Share Declines

According to CAAM's statistical analysis, China brand passenger vehicle sales reached 1.329 million units in January 2026. Compared with the previous month, sales decreased by 32.1%; compared with the same period last year, sales dropped by 8.9%. In addition, China brand passenger vehicles accounted for 66.9% of the total passenger vehicle sales that month, but this market share decreased by 1.5 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
