Aluminum Alloy Futures Rebound, Spot Prices Rise Slightly Amid Cautious Market Sentiment

[SMM Aluminum Alloy Daily Report] Futures side, the most-traded aluminum alloy 2604 contract first fell then rose today. It opened higher in the morning session but moved sideways and dropped to 22,600 yuan, then stabilized and rebounded in the afternoon, eventually closing at 22,710 yuan/mt, up 60 yuan/mt or 0.26% from the previous close. Spot side, the SMM ADC12 price rose slightly by 50 yuan/mt to 23,800 yuan/mt. Boosted by the stronger futures performance, market sentiment improved somewhat. However, secondary aluminum enterprises remained generally cautious about following the increase, with most keeping their offers steady or raising them by no more than 100 yuan/mt. [SMM Update] SHFE data showed that on April 8, the total registered cast aluminum alloy warrants stood at 31,062 mt, a decrease of 121 mt from the previous trading day. Specifically, the total registered volume in Shanghai was 1,912 mt (unchanged), Guangdong 12,358 mt (unchanged), Jiangsu 3,541 mt (down 61 mt), Zhejiang 8,411 mt (down 60 mt), Chongqing 3,634 mt (unchanged), and Sichuan 1,206 mt (unchanged).
