[SMM Iron & Steel] India’s BCCL Plans 15% Coking Coal Output Expansion

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, is increasing its coking coal output by approximately 15% through the expansion of its Block-E project. This project, expected to reach 15 million MTPA, is scheduled for tender in FY 2025-26 to boost domestic supply for the steel sector.
