【SMM PV News】NEA: China adds 317 GW of new solar capacity in 2025

On February 21, 2026, the National Energy Administration released authoritative data: China's new PV installations in 2025 reached 317 GW, a year-on-year increase of 14%. Among them, centralized PV added 164 GW, and distributed PV added 153 GW. The cumulative grid-connected capacity approached 1,200 GW by the end of 2025.
