CECEP Solar Acquires Jinhua Fengling New Energy for RMB 527 Million to Expand PV Market Share

On 3 February, the power supply plans for the Kubuqi to Shanghai and Kubuqi to Jiangsu Shagou Desert Base projects received approval from the National Energy Administration, marking a significant milestone in the bases' advancement. Supporting coal-fired power plants are expected to commence construction by the end of 2026.

Recently, the project ‘Key Technologies for High-Efficiency Crystalline Silicon Full-Back Electrode Passivated Contact Solar Cells’, spearheaded by JinkoSolar (Haining), was awarded the Second Prize for Technological Invention by Zhejiang Province. Within this initiative, the team achieved significant progress in resolving technical challenges including integrated passivation of n/p junctions, high-precision doping patterning, and refined electrode design.

Recently, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has selected two manufacturers to support the mass production technology of next-generation perovskite solar cells. The Ministry announced that the chosen enterprises include chemical manufacturer Kinkyo Co., Ltd. and major residential solar system manufacturer Choshu Industries. The Ministry will subsidise development costs totalling ¥9.4 billion before fiscal year 2030, aiming to establish cells with sufficient annual power generation capacity of 1 gigawatt – enough to supply approximately 300,000 households.
