Energy Storage Cell Manufacturing Base Breaks Ground In Yibin, Sichuan

On February 10, the cell manufacturing base project within the Yibin Energy Storage Industrial Park broke ground. Located in the core industrial area of Yibin Xuzhou New District, Sichuan Province, the cell manufacturing base project will be constructed in two phases, with an overall planned annual production capacity of 54GWh for energy storage cells, aiming to establish an industry-leading intelligent manufacturing base. Currently, the preliminary work for the project has been completed. The main structure is expected to be finished by the end of September 2026, followed by equipment installation and commissioning, with trial production scheduled for November 2026.
