CATL Launches 5 Billion Yuan Science And Technology Innovation Bond Issuance

On February 10, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) issued an announcement stating its intention to publicly issue the first tranche of science and technology innovation corporate bonds for 2026 to professional investors, with an issuance scale not exceeding 5 billion yuan (inclusive). After deducting issuance expenses, the funds raised from these bonds will primarily be used for science and technology innovation initiatives aligned with national strategies, including the construction and operation of projects related to power batteries and energy storage batteries.
