Recently, good news has come from China Energy Construction (CEEC) Songyuan Hydrogen Industry Park (Integrated Green Hydrogen-Ammonia-Alcohol) Project — since its official commissioning on December 16, 2025, the cumulative output of green ammonia of the project has exceeded 10,000 tonnes. This milestone achievement marks that CEEC's hydrogen energy industry has successfully crossed the demonstration and exploration stage, entered a new era of large-scale commercial application, and provided a replicable and promotable practical model for the green and low-carbon industry.
As the "cornerstone project" for CEEC to deploy its hydrogen energy industry, the completion and commissioning of the Songyuan Project have effectively verified the green value of the "green electricity — green hydrogen — green ammonia/green alcohol" integrated commercial closed loop, and formed the independently innovative "Green Hydrogen No.1" solution. Immediately after commissioning, the project obtained the ISCC EU Green Certification and signed the world's first green ammonia ocean shipping fuel sales contract.
It is reported that the project is positioned as a pilot "three national-level demonstrations" for hydrogen energy projects in China's energy field and a global energy interconnection demonstration project, with China Energy Construction Co., Ltd. as the main project entity. The project content includes the following aspects:

New Energy Power Generation System: 800,000 kilowatts of new energy power generation (including 750,000 kilowatts of wind power and 50,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power), adopting the green electricity direct supply mode.
Hydrogen Production and Chemical Equipment: An integrated production equipment with an annual output of 45,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and 200,000 tonnes of green ammonia/green methanol.
Supporting Facilities: Covering the entire industrial chain of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, hydrogen-based chemicals, hydrogen energy equipment and technological R&D.
Technical Route: Integrated wind and photovoltaic direct supply + energy storage peak shaving + high-efficiency electrolytic hydrogen production system + dynamic ammonia synthesis.
