[SMM Aluminum Express news] Vietnam's Lam Dong Province approved two alumina expansions worth ~US$2.3 billion total—the province's biggest investments ever.

Nhan Co plant: +1.2 million tpy line, US$1.16B, 870 ha, starts 2030, 30-year run.
Lam Dong complex: +1.2 million tpy second line, US$1.15B, 20.79 ha, ops from Q4 2030.

Both aim for high-quality alumina, domestic use, and exports, boosting Vietnam's Central Highlands aluminum chain.
