【SMM Steel】JISCO Carbon Steel Starts World-First Integrated CSP®-HSM Production Line in Jiayuguan

【SMM Steel】JISCO has launched the world's first integrated CSP® and hot strip mill (HSM) line in Jiayuguan. This upgrade doubled annual capacity to 4.5 million tons. Using SMS group's automation, the line synchronizes slab casting and rolling across different furnace types, enabling flexible production without halting previous operations. It merges CSP® short-process efficiency with HSM capabilities to stably produce higher-grade, quality steel, setting a new benchmark for automated, large-scale mill upgrades.
