Nanshan to Build Refinery in Indonesia for Petcoke Supply to Aluminium Smelter

[SMM Aluminum Express News] China's Shandong Nanshan Group plans a 100,000 bpd crude oil refinery in Indonesia's Galang Batang SEZ on Bintan Island, primarily to produce petroleum coke (petcoke) as feedstock for its planned aluminum smelter expansion. However limited information on the capacity of the petroleum coke as it is still currently on planning stage.
