[SMM New Energy] CATL Signs Two Major Lithium Battery Production Bases

The Quanzhou Municipal People's Government and CATL have officially signed a cooperation agreement for the new energy battery production site project. Quanzhou Vice Mayor Lei Lianming and CATL Assistant to the Chairman and Director of Corporate Planning Department Qu Tao signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will engage in in-depth collaboration on the R&D and manufacturing of new energy batteries, utilizing advanced green manufacturing technologies to build intelligent, zero-carbon modern factories, improve the industry chain supporting facilities, drive coordinated development among upstream and downstream enterprises, and jointly strengthen the new energy industry ecosystem.
