Indonesia to Re-auction 600,000 Tons of Seized Bauxite in Bintan Regency

[SMM Aluminum Express News] The Directorate General of Law Enforcement of Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will re-auction approximately 600,000 tons of seized illegal bauxite stockpiles in Bintan Regency. The initial auction had no qualifying bids. The re-auction is based on Government Regulation No. 39 of 2025, aiming to optimize state assets. The government estimates potential non-tax state revenue from the sale to exceed IDR 200 billion.
