SMM News on January 23: According to market rumors, a large-scale plant in northern China recently held a public bidding for the sale of crude selenium. It is reported that all bids were successfully concluded. Although the specific transaction prices have not been officially disclosed, some market participants involved in the bidding revealed that many bids below 170 yuan/kg failed to win. As a result, market insiders estimate that the actual transaction price exceeded 170 yuan/kg. Compared to the results of previous crude selenium bidding by other manufacturers, the transaction price in this week’s bidding has once again reached a new high, indicating that the strong upward trend in selenium prices remains unchanged.
