WELION New Energy Secures 6 MWh ESS Deal with Hungarian ElektroEnergy Kft.

In January 2026, WELION New Energy’s European division formally signed an agreement with the renowned Hungarian electrical engineering enterprise ElektroEnergy Kft. to provide a supporting 6 MWh energy storage system for the latter’s PV power station. This signing represents another significant large-scale order for WELION New Energy in the European market, marking a key breakthrough in the application of its semi-solid ESS within the European PV power generation sector. The project will utilize an energy storage system built upon WELION New Energy’s 314 Ah semi-solid battery cells. This collaboration further deepens WELION New Energy’s footprint in the European ESS market, demonstrating its firm commitment to actively advancing the energy transition through technological adaptation and localized services.
