[CATL: Lithium Battery ESS Has Become the Most Economical ESS Technology Currently] According to information obtained by a Cailian Press reporter from CATL, at the China Corner of the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), the company jointly released the "PV and ESS Facilitating Energy Transition" report with IRENA. The report clearly states that lithium battery ESS has become the most economical ESS technology currently, and the "PV+ESS" combination constitutes the most economical green power solution. The report recommends that countries set national targets for ESS installations, incorporate ESS into the top-level design and planning of the power grid, and effectively promote the coordinated development of renewable energy and ESS.
