【SMM Aluminium Flash News】Chinalco High-end, Yunnan Aluminum, and Kunming Copper increased their investment in Yunnan Aluminum Foil

Aluminum Corporation of China (CHALCO) announced that its subsidiary, Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. (Yunnan Aluminum), has entered into a capital increase agreement with Aluminum Corporation of China (CHALCO), Northwest Aluminum Co., Ltd. (NWAL), China Copper (Kunming) Co., Ltd. (Kunming Copper), and China Aluminum Foil (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. (Yunnan Aluminum Foil). According to the agreement, CHALCO, YALCO, and Kunming Copper intend to increase capital in Yunnan Foil by a total of RMB906.45 million in cash or assets, with CHALCO contributing RMB229 million in cash, YALCO contributing RMB500 million in cash, and Kunming Copper contributing RMB177.45 million in cash and assets (including RMB89 million in cash and RMB88.45 million in assets (including land use rights, structures on the land, and related debts and liabilities)). Northwest Aluminum will not participate in this capital increase. After the completion of this capital increase, Yunnan Aluminum Foil's registered capital will increase from the current RMB 800 million to RMB 1.147 billion. China Aluminum High-end, Northwest Aluminum, Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd., and Kunming Copper will hold 68.31%, 9.06%, 16.70% and 5.93% of Yunnan Aluminum Foil's equity respectively.
