Altech Batteries has entered the sodium nickel chloride market in Australia, Europe, and the U.S. via a distribution deal with AMPower, a unit of China’s Chilwee Group. AMPower’s solid-state batteries, sharing the same chemistry as Altech’s CERENERGY, are fireproof, long-lasting, reliable in extreme conditions, and can stay fully charged maintenance-free for over 10 years—outperforming lead-acid, lithium-ion, and nickel-cadmium alternatives.
