Jinfei Kaida Automotive Aluminum Alloy Wheel Hub Project Commences Trial Operation

[SMM Express] According to reports, Zhejiang Jinfei Kaida Wheel Co., Ltd. held the 7th meeting of the 5th Board of Directors on January 18, 2024, and passed the "Proposal on Investing in the Construction Project of an Annual Output of 1.2 Million Automotive Aluminum Alloy Wheel Hubs." The company approved its wholly-owned subsidiary, Anhui Jinfei Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., to invest in the construction of the project, which has a planned total investment of approximately 312.4605 million yuan. As of the announcement date, the project has completed the main construction and equipment installation, and has entered the trial operation phase, with the current trial operation results being generally normal.

SHFE Aluminum 2608 Contract Trades High, Spot Premiums and Market Sentiment Improve

In the morning session, the SHFE aluminum 2608 contract continued to trade at high levels, with prices above 24,000 yuan/mt exerting some dampening effect on downstream procurement, while trading among traders was relatively active. Today, the main trading center for SHFE aluminum spot premiums was between 8-40 yuan/mt and 08-20 yuan/mt. Today, the east China market shipment sentiment index was 3.16, up 0.01 MoM, and the procurement sentiment index was 3.20, up 0.04 MoM.
