[SMM New Energy News Flash] China Carbon Neutral Development Group, China Recycling Development Group, and China Tower held a high-level meeting to discuss building a lithium battery circular economy ecosystem. The three parties aim to strengthen cooperation in retired battery recycling, second-life applications, and resource utilization to support China’s “dual carbon” goals. China Tower, with over 2.2 million base stations and strong experience in second-life battery applications, emphasized its commitment to green and low-carbon development. China Recycling highlighted its nationwide resource recovery network, while China Carbon Neutral showcased its blockchain-powered “Xunli Net” platform, integrating transaction, data, and finance to enable traceable and high-quality battery lifecycle management. Together, the parties plan to form a closed-loop industrial chain of “recycling–reuse–reapplication,” create demonstration benchmarks for the lithium circular economy, and expand China’s low-carbon solutions globally.
