T1Energy Signs Deal with Corning Inc. for Domestic Polysilicon and Wafers Supply

Recently, U.S. solar manufacturer T1Energy has signed a cooperation agreement with Corning Inc., a newly emerging silicon material manufacturer and materials giant, to procure domestically produced polysilicon and wafers in the United States.

T1Energy stated that this agreement marks a ‘milestone’ for the U.S. solar industry, signifying the establishment of a fully domestically produced silicon material supply chain in the United States.

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), subsidiary of Tat Steel located in eastern Indian state of Odisha, will expand around US$3.54 billion to expand the capacity of steelmaking.
