revomet GmbH, a subsidiary of the CRONIMET Group, and China’s CNGR Advanced Material have officially established a joint venture, with CNGR acquiring a 25% stake in revomet Bitterfeld GmbH. revomet Bitterfeld operates one of Europe’s leading battery scrap recycling facilities, focused on recovering high-purity nickel, cobalt, lithium, and other critical battery raw materials to close the battery value chain loop and promote sustainable raw material supply in Europe. The partnership leverages complementary strengths: revomet brings advanced recycling technology and a strategic location, CNGR— a global leader in pCAM production—contributes extensive expertise in battery material manufacturing and an international network, while the CRONIMET Group supports global resource recycling and logistics capabilities. This Sino-German collaboration represents a pioneering model of international cooperation in Europe’s battery industry, combining Chinese and European technology and market resources to build an efficient and sustainable battery industry ecosystem.
