India's Adani Copper Plant Resumes Production, Concerns Linger Over Long-Term Contracts

According to SMM, after experiencing multiple delays in commissioning, India's Adani copper smelter resumed commissioning on June 16. However, due to the repeated delays, there is a risk that its long-term contract for copper concentrates raw material supply from South America may be cancelled. The Adani smelter has an annual capacity of 500,000 mt.
