Ivanhoe Mines Cuts 2025 Copper Production Guidance for Kamoa-Kakula by 28% Amid Earthquake Impact

Published: Jun 12, 2025 09:06
Ivanhoe Mines has released its latest 2025 production guidance for copper at Kamoa-Kakula, projecting 370,000-420,000 mt (metal content), a 28% decrease from the 520,000-580,000 mt (metal content) guidance released earlier in the year. This decline is primarily due to the earthquake that previously impacted the Kakula copper mine.
