Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On June 11, XPENG officially unveiled its latest midsize SUV—the XPENG G7—and opened presales with a starting price of 235,800 yuan.

According to XPENG's Chairman He Xiaopeng, the XPENG G7 is positioned as a smart, spacious SUV and integrates a range of new technologies. The model is slated for official market launch and customer deliveries in the third quarter of 2025.

The XPENG G7 adopts XPENG's latest design language, similar to that of the P7+. It features split-type headlamps with an arched, full-width LED light bar above and integrated high/low beam units and air ducts below, giving the vehicle an aggressive, futuristic look. A wide, blacked-out lower grille enhances the SUV's sporty stance. XPENG also revealed six exterior color options: Star Grey, Crescent Silver, Nebula White, Midnight Black, Cloud Beige, and Galactic Green.

From the side, the XPENG G7 is equipped with flush door handles and newly designed wheels, adding to its refined appearance.

At the rear, the vehicle sports trapezoidal full-width taillights for added visual depth.

Measuring 4,892 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm, the XPENG G7 is designed to offer generous cabin space.

Inside, the XPENG G7 adopts a wraparound design theme with soft-touch materials, complemented by real wood trim and satin-metal accents. Four interior color schemes are available: Mystic Blue, Warm Orange, Elegant Grey, and Deep Space Grey. Highlighted features include a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, dual 50W air-cooled wireless chargers in the front row, a 20-speaker 7.1.4 surround sound system, digital rearview mirror, 8-inch rear-seat entertainment screen, 256-color ambient lighting, and a 2.17-square-meter panoramic glass roof.

A standout innovation is the "XHUD" AR-HUD system, co-developed with Huawei. This 87-inch augmented reality head-up display offers 1,800:1 contrast, a 10-meter virtual image projection distance, industry-low ≤1% static distortion, and a latency of just 100 milliseconds.

The XPENG G7 is also the first XPENG model to feature the brand's in-house developed Turing AI chip, significantly enhancing the vehicle's assisted driving responsiveness and safety redundancy. It continues to rely on a pure vision-based driver assistance solution, utilizing 11 cameras and 3 millimeter-wave radars.

Powering the G7 is a single-motor electric drivetrain delivering a peak output of 218 kW and a top speed of 202 km/h. The model is available with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: 68.5 kWh and 80.8 kWh.
