Overview of Automotive Battery Market on June 9th by SMM [SMM Evening News]

SMM June 9 report: Dealers in Jiangxi reported that end-use consumption in the automotive battery market was mediocre, with retailers only purchasing on demand. Battery inventory digestion was slow, with current inventory exceeding two months. Additionally, the main model 6-QW-60Ah was priced at 180-250 yuan per unit. Manufacturers in Hebei reported that the automotive battery market was in the off-season, with no significant improvement in finished product orders in June. Due to relatively small fluctuations in lead prices, the battery sales market maintained a sales promotions atmosphere. Additionally, the operating rate of production lines was around 80%. Manufacturers in Zhejiang reported that replacement demand in the automotive battery market was sluggish, with dealers exercising caution in procurement. To avoid an increase in battery inventory, the current operating rate of factory production lines was maintained at 70-80%, and raw material lead was procured on a just-in-time basis.
