Shanggai (Gasgoo)- Li Auto Inc., a prominent player in China's new energy vehicle sector, reported vehicle deliveries of 40,856 units in May 2025, marking a 16.7% increase compared to the same period last year.

By the end of May, the company's total cumulative deliveries had reached 1,301,531 units.

Throughout the past month, Li Auto completed a full upgrade of its model lineup. Deliveries of the Li MEGA Home began in late May, with production now ramping up rapidly as demand has significantly surpassed expectations.

The updated Li L series has seen major product enhancements, with improvements tailored to actual user needs and designed for frequent-use scenarios. The Li L9 now comes equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension system and dual-valve CDC technology, offering a combination of spacious comfort and stable handling. Meanwhile, the Li L8 and Li L7 both feature standard dual-chamber Magic Carpet air suspension, elevating their performance in the competitive RMB 300,000–400,000 segment. Across the lineup, every model now includes all-weather LiDAR, enabling advanced active safety features such as industry-leading automatic emergency braking (AEB) and automatic emergency steering (AES).

In late May, the company also began rolling out its OTA version 7.4 update, introducing animated avatars and smarter features to its intelligent assistant, Li Xiang Tong Xue. Looking ahead, Li Auto expects to complete the installation of its 2,500th supercharging station in June, paving the way for the upcoming launch of its first battery electric SUV, the Li i8, in July.

As of May 31, 2025, Li Auto had operated 506 retail outlets across 152 cities, along with 502 service centers and authorized body and paint shops in 222 cities. The company also maintained 2,414 supercharging stations nationwide, equipped with a total of 13,195 charging stalls.
