Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 29, Zeekr announced a partnership with NIO Power to establish two-way interoperability between their respective charging networks.

With this collaboration, users of NIO, ONVO, and firefly brands can now locate and access Zeekr Power charging stations via the NIO App, in-car charging maps, or the NIO Power App, offering a more seamless and convenient charging experience.

According to data released by NIO, as of May 29, 2025, the company has built 3,337 battery swap stations nationwide, including 988 along expressways. It also operates 4,570 charging stations with a total of 26,308 charging piles, and has integrated access to more than 1,253,000 third-party charging piles.

NIO Power plans to continue expanding and refining its electric vehicle charging and battery swapping infrastructure. The company has set a goal to achieve full charging coverage in all county-level regions across every provincial-level administrative region in China by June 30, 2025. It also aims to reach full battery swapping coverage in counties across 14 provinces by that date, expand that to 27 provinces by the end of 2025, and begin addressing the remaining regions starting in 2026.

Since the beginning of 2024, NIO has actively expanded its energy replenishment network partnerships with other automakers. To date, it has established charging interoperability with brands including Xiaomi, AVATR, Chery, MHERO, Hongqi, DEEPAL, AION, IM Motors, Zeekr, Lotus Cars, Cadillac, Buick, XPENG, and the marques under Huawei-backed HIMA (Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance).

On Zeekr's side, the brand is also accelerating its integration with other automakers' energy networks. Earlier in May, GAC Energy and Zeekr Power announced a similar two-way charging collaboration, enabling users from both networks to locate and use each other's charging facilities via their respective apps or mini-programs.

As part of that cooperation, Zeekr Power's charging network has been integrated into GAC's in-car systems. Users of GAC AION, GAC HYPTEC, GAC Trumpchi, and GAC Toyota, as well as those using the GAC Energy App or mini-program, can search for Zeekr's charging stations. GAC Energy's membership will also gain access to benefits at Zeekr Power's charging locations. Conversely, Zeekr Power's users can view real-time information—including location, pricing, and availability—of GAC Energy's charging stations through the Zeekr App, in-car map, or Zeekr Power mini-program.
